when i turn on my computer, my monitor will display this message 'power safe mode'. the LED no the monitor change from green to yellow. the LED on the 'CPU' is blinking. can u help me with this problem.
Don't you mean "power save mode". Power save mode and Safe Mode are two different things. You can try powering your monitor on and off. If you have verified that the monitor is good and the cable connecting the monitor to your computer is properly connected and that your video card is O.K. there is a way to reset the CMOS on the motherboard and get the computer booting properly again.
Just open your computer case up and switch the little plastic jumper on the motherboard that is usually marked as CMOS CLR by hooking the 2nd & 3rd pins together. Than turn you computer on and it will boot up normally, then switch the jumper back to the old position.
