I have a Nissan Altima 2000 GXE and I bought this configuration as a package from Walmart...Is this a good configuration for a car...I mean will the sound and clarity of this be good? Is the power of the speakers and deck good enough to get good sound and clarity?
The Sony Complete Car Audio Package features an in-dash CD player (45W x 4), one pair of 6" x 9" 3-way speakers (300W) and one pair of 6.5" 2-way speakers (190W).
It will sound better than your stock system but nothing spectacular. Any aftermarket equipment, even low end stuff, which is what you got there, will sound better than a stock Nissan system. It will sound clearer and louder, but don't expect amazing yano. I've never been a big fan of Sony equipment, but if you just wanted a little better than stock, this is the way to go.
Also check your rear deck speakers, I believe they are only 6 1/2 inch's so a 6x9 wouldn't fit without modification aka get the tin snips out or reciprocating air saw.
