I was installing a pair of Optronics Fog Lights on my Neon. They worked for a couple of days then stopped. I rewired them into the low beam wire of my headlight wiring just before the drivers light. Shortly after while driving the lights quit working and the drivers low beam also quit. I now believe there is a loose filiment in the fog lights causing a short. I disconnected the fog lights altogether and tested the low beam wire for power and there was none. The next day I lost the low beam in the other headlight also. I have traced the wire almost to the firewall and there is no power there either. I purchased another controller for t he steering column and this caused no change. I need to know where to look to fox the problem. It cannot be a fuse because the high beams work. Please help. Both high beams work fine.
