How to hardwire an LED bar in my car?
I just bought two LED light bars that i am going to put under the dash in my car. The instructions it came with are very vague( ground the black cord to chassis and hardwire white to a parking light or something). I have never been good with car electrical systems, ijust want to know how to get these to work. It would be best if i could have them on when the headlights. Thanks.
Find the positive line for your headlights( The one -after- the headlight switch. Wiring diagram is most helpful). Splice the positive line(white) into that wire. Connect the ground(black) to a grounded piece in your car(IE, chassis). Then you turn your headlight switch and they'll light up with your headlights.
