Need car audio installers help please answer thanks.?
So this is the deal I have a 2002 ford explorer put a system in it minus small speakers so i have the factory speakers, what did get installed was a jl audio power wedge system the sub woofer is not the problem,

so my question is, is it the alpine deck that is distorting the treble or vocals in the smaller speakers or is it the speakers? I got this system put in at a pro shop so I believe they did a proper job installing it, its just at louder volumes the treble distorts in the smaller factory speakers that i never got replaced. thanks for the help.
get new speakers in the doors. my guess is 6.5" for your doors. get the alpine type r series. great crossover and great sound.
