i want to power the sub indoors so since the car sub only takes DC i need this AC to DC converter...is there a certian AC to CD converter or will all of them work fine? iv been hearing people say "do i need a powerful converter" or a "large converter" some1 help plz, isit just any AC to DC converter ??

At least a 600 watt Amplifier. Remember that you have to consider RMS wattage. (RMS stands for the root of the mean of the squares...in short about 2/3ds power). So out of an amplifier that is rated at...um I dunno 750 watts, you are only going to get about 500 clean watts at a time, that's total...divide evenly among channels if necessary.
(its rated 750 because of its max capacity, remember wattage is a measurement of AC power and AC, unlike DC, runs in waves, constantly up and down from negative to positve, so the 500 watts from a 750 amplifier is basically the average of its clean power...to better this ability add a seperate crossover or capacitor)....
Power is Power it doesn't matter where it comes from as long as AC goes to AC and DC goes to DC, your speaker won't know the difference. Just remember that to power the amplifier, use a DC power supply that is at least 20 amps or more. You can buy the adjustable types at Radio shack.
