I need to know if I would be able to remove my center piece on the bench in my 2005 chevy two-door truck?
I am wanting to remove the center part and am planning to build in a custom box to hold one, 12 inch JL Audio sub, and two amps, 300 and 500 watt. Would it be possible to do myself? The removal, I mean? If so please refer a site I could use or give me a basic breakdown. It would be very helpful, thank you!
If I'm not mistaken,basically,all you have to do is pull both seats out of the truck.The center section is mounted under the seat bolts. There may be a wiring harness or two if the consol runs across the floor to the dash,but if you've got what is essentially a center seat,that section will come out after the seats are removed.
