Ok, so after much thought, I have decided to get rid of my gas hog... the Lander Rover Discovery.
I've done my research, & I'm torn between the Toyota Yaris and the Toyota Corolla. If you have any expertise on either of these, your advice will be greatly appreciated.
Stepping down from a Discovery into a Yaris would be like you sitting in a matchbox. Yes Yaris would give you a better gas average, but the smaller you are the less respect you get. You know exactly what I am talking about, you used to do it all the time in your Discovery. My suggestion would be the Corolla. The car is over all slightly bigger then a Yaris. As for the engine the Yaris has a 1.5L; whereas, the Corolla comes in a 1.6L and 1.8L. In mechanic lingo not too much a difference. Pulse the Corolla has a better resale price and it has the sight edge in acceleration when compared to the Yaris. As for the price, there is usually a 3 to 4 thousand (US) dollar difference on the sticker. Good Luck !!
