I have a flip down display for in car video. It seems to view best when viewed from straight on or from above. [had out of the car. ] however when sitting in the car, you are below the display slightly, and the image has the dark shadowy look unless you put your head up higher, to view the screen from a higher angle.
So, is it possible to take it apart, filp it over, and then somehow rewire it to flip the image to match?
It may be possible, but it probably is not becuase inside these things the wiring is usually kept to a minimal, and the sreen will need several wiring feeds which will almost definitly be integrated into one flat strip. These strips are very easily damaged and near impossible to solder new wires onto. However there may be a solution, electronics companies may sell extentions for these strips, particularly computer parts companies, you should also try Maplins electronics. A qulified electrician may do this job for you, but I wouldn't try it unless you know for a fact that it is going to be straight forward, because these things are pricey! However, take it apart and have a look just in case it will. You will not be able to flip the actual image though, just the screen.
