I recently got my brakes replaces, and about a week later my brake lights stop working(I dont know if theres any connection). The funny thing is:
1. My turning signals work.
2. The reverse lights work.
3. The head lights and the tail lights work.
4. Brake lights dont : (
I tried replacing the bulbs. I've tried replacing the brake light switch, but nothing works.
Tripod's right. first take it back to the place the did your brakes. If they refuse to help you then you're on your own. It could be a blown fuse for that circuit, or the brake light switch, located above the brake pedal, could've gone out. you're going to need to check the fusebox first and see if the fuse is blown. you can tell by puling the fuse out and looking at it from the side. there should be a fuse puller located inside the fusebox. if the fuses are good, you're going to need someone to check that circuit. it could be anything from a bad switch to a disconnected ground wire under the chassis. good luck
