Get lawyer or not? Rear-ended a car, 4 points.?
My mom and I were driving and the lady in front of us was driving very erratically. She would all of a sudden slow down for no reason and then keep going. She did this about 3 or 4 times, that’s when my mom decided to switch lanes (because of this erratic driver of course) and as she looked in her rear view mirror the lady suddenly slowed and we rear-ended her. And luckily for us there was a police car RIGHT there!
So to the point now, we got a ticket for following too close and this ticket will put 4 points on my mothers license. So what do we do? Do we plead guilty and provide an expiation to the judge (option two) or choose the trial option (option 3). Will we need a lawyer to get out of at least some of the points or will it be possible to do it ourselves. Also if it is better do go to trial without a lawyer, what do we have to say or do there?
My mom has been driving for 7 years and her driving record is clean.

well she rear ended her so theres nothing u can do about that no matter how bad it is u cant win that
