help with getting new car speakers!!!!!!!!?
hello, i have been talking to crutchfield about getting new infiniti speakers in my 2009 kia. i have checked around and the reviews are great and their price is right in line. the crutchfield guy told me when i have the installer put in the 4 new 6 1/2" (front &rear) speakers, i should tell him to disconnect the 2 tiny tweeters that kia put in. he said i don't need them, and they will just be a problem later.(probably blow) he was a super nice guy, i just wanted to get some opinions, should i tell the installer to disconnect the little tweeters??( i think i should, what do you say????)
Yes, unhook the stock tweeters. You are going to have four new ones in the four new speakers.
