We are given two small axle rods about 2 1/2" inches long and 4 plastic wheels about an inch in height , a small motor, and two 1.5 volt Duracell batteries and the only requirements is it has to run with a propeller. We're not allowed to buy the propeller though, but we can use anything we want to make the frame of the car. Does anybody have any bright ideas on how to make a super fast car?
Make the frame very light but strong. A piece of balsa wood or even styrofoam will be fine. Make it like a dragster, long and thin. It sounds to me like the propeller will be the trickiest piece. You could cut one out of thin aluminum and then bend the blades slightly, but attaching it to the motor might be a problem. I would probably try JB Weld or clear silicone to attach it to the motor. Balance the car by putting the motor and propeller in the rear and the batteries in series in front of that, so that you get max rpm using 3 volts.
