I was looking into legal options that would allow the car passenger to watch DVDs while driving. I know that it's illegal for the screen to be in view of the driving and I don't plan on watching, but I would like to have it so my wife could watch movies on trips.
I did some searching and I see that there are rotating in-dash dvd screens, is it legal to rotate the screen towards the passenger and thus the driver can't view it?
Or what about those sun visor dvd players, is legal to have one on the passenger side?
Please let me know if you have any other ideas for legal front seat dvd players.
no way to circumvent those laws but if you install a regular dvd player the rule is it needs to be attached to the ebrake no ebrake pulled no dvd play once installed its easy to work around that safety feature but get caught watching while driving and its bad news just get a mobile dvd player under $100 or get a mp4 player and convert the dvd to play on those
