i have 2 Kicker CVR 2ohm dvc subs in a SEALED box. with a BOSS 1200M MONO CLASS D amp i never had a amp with one channel before how can i hook my subs up to get them to sound good. the speakers are 2 ohms can be wired parreal the book says to get 1 ohm and in a series to get a 4 ohm. i dont know what EITHER IS or if i can do it to BOTH Subs or what.. i dont know nothing really. HELP PLEASE
of couarse it has TWO electric terminal ports and its divided down the middle
here is a clculator, you must remember you have 2 subs not 1 so the calculations are different.
i would use the 2ohm load it is about perfect, too many people try to use the lowes load possible and most amps may be able to make that load it is just not the best.
lower loads are less efficient using more current, run hotter and have less control over the cone but only give an extra decible or two.
