How do i hook up two subwoofers to one stereo receiver?
I have a sub I am not using any longer and want two put it on my receiver for music purposes, could someone tell me how to do this and give me a supply list? thanks
It depends on your receiver and on your subwoofers. If the receiver has a preamp subwoofer output and both your subwoofers are powered with preamp input then all you need is an RCA Y adaptor and some interconnect cables. You just connect the Y connector to your receiver and then connect each leg of the Y to a subwoofer. If your woofers are not powered then it becomes more difficult.
