Protecting my computer components against static discharge?
Basically I've read that if you're statically charged and handle computer components, the electrostatic discharge can wreck the computer.
I don't have an anti-static wrist strap, and there are no shops near me which sell them.
If I held onto the frame of my PC case (which is earthed) while handling components, would this be sufficient protection? I'd also take care not to go touching any metal connectors on the components.
i always touch a heater befor i touch a componet or i use a antistatick bag (that the parts game in) as a glove 
and ull be fine
