Can i run a 4 ohm sub from an amp at 600 x 1 channel at 1 ohm??
Now the sub says:Size: 8"
Impedance (OHMS): 4 DVC
Max Rec Amplifier Power (WATTS PEAK/RMS): 1800w / 900w
Sensitivity (dB 1W/1M): 84.5
Frequency Response (Hz): 28-100k
Mounting Depth (IN.): 4-11/16
So does this mean i have to run with from the amp at 4OHM???
Because the amp spec says this:
RMS Power Output:
• 300 watts x 1 chan. @ 4 ohms
• 400 watts x 1 chan. @ 2 ohms
• 600 watts x 1 chan. @ 1 ohm
So can i run that sub at 600watts x 1 chan. @ 1 ohm or do i have to run it at 300 x 1 chan. @4 ohms???

Since the sun you have is a DVC ( duel voice coil) you can run in series for 4 ohm, or you can run in parallel so the amp will see 2 OHM. You would need a DVC 2 ohm sub to see 1 ohm at the amp.
