I still listen to the radio in my car. I noticed the content of the advertising here has changed in the last 15-20 years, and I am curious if this is because younger people don't listen to the radio as much anymore. The ads on rock stations here seem geared toward older people.
Do you still listen to the radio? What style music? How old are you? Do you primarily listen in the car or at home? Do your friends and family still listen to the radio?
If you don't listen to the radio in your car, when you are in your car, do use use CDs, satellite radio, iPod with FM transmitter, iPod connected through aux, built-in iPod dock, other digital music player, built-in hard drive, etc.? Do you prefer to have control of what songs will be played vs. the random nature of radio... or do you dislike today's music?
I'm a teenager and I do still listen to the radio sometimes, but generally when i'm in the car. The amount of ads on radio stations atm are ridiculous and I guess that is why most people listen to their own music. I don't listen to the radio at home, I listen to my iPod instead. I do prefer listening to 'random' songs on the radio because even though I have many songs on my iPod, it does get repetitive. Having said that recently good songs are being played over and over again on the radio and good songs are then ruined.
