How do you fix a Rockford Fosgate amp when the thermal light comes on?
I have a Kicker Solobaric subwoofer. It has been running good off of the RF P3001 amp i have hooked up to it but the other day it stopped working. The thermal light came on. I have unhooked everything and hooked it back up but it hasn't started back working yet. I was wondering how to fix that.
You have to take it to a stereo store an have a fan installed inside the casing of the amp itself to keep from damaging the board. You can probally get by with installing an exterior fan on the amp so that it is coolin it off. You need to find out why you are over heating are you overdriving or what!
