I just bought the 2011 Elantra Limited with GPS and it has a camera when you put the car in reverse that shows you where you are going. The past two days when I've went into reverse, the screen just turns black with the overlaid color grid, but no camera image. What is wroing with it already? Please tell me Hyundai is under obligation to fix this.. I've had the car less than 2 weeks.
The camera is definiately still there. Sometimes when I back up, the image will come on for a split second and then it turns to black.
First take a look in back and see if the camera is still there. If it is, yes, you need to go to Hyundai and get them to fix it. You'd hit the ceiling to see the price of those things from the dealer- too expensive to just kiss off after a couple of weeks. The GPS and camera should have manufacturer's warranty. If someone stole it off the back of your car, call your insurance.
