Auto CD Deck Digital Display stopped working?
It is an Alpine CD player. The LCD on the removable face plate does not work. The players other lights still go on. There is power, and it plays CD's and radio. Just the LCD stopped lighting up. Is there a separate fuse to this. Nothing got wet or jarred. This morning when he snapped in the faceplate, he gota 2-5 second light up of the LCD's. Then it shut down again.
Call Alpine and get another face plate. If it doesn't fix your problem, you can always mail it back for a refund.
Also if it doesn't work you know you'll have to replace the head unit. You might also find replacement face plates on ebay.
