what do they mean by hadware enclosure support?

this is an external hard drive meaning that it is used as a storage device which is portable, kinda like a usb drive except this one is the size of a hard drive. you can choose from laptop hard drive which are smaller and more expensive to PC hard drive which are bigger and require power from a power cord. All you need to get is the hard drive and the enclosure for it, either a laptop hard drive enclosure which is 2.5" i think or a PC hard drive enclousre which is 3.5''. But the one you apparantly chose already has the enclosure box coming with the hard driveso you're ready to go. This one is also a 3.5" hard drive since it is a PC hard drive.
