I have a pyramid PB446X 600 watts 2 channel, 2 ohm stable amp. What single sub at what ohm,watt should I buy?
Which single sub works well for a PYRAMID PB446X 600watts, 2 channel, 2 ohm stable, bridgeable mosfet amplifier. Please let me know what watt, ohms, inch subwoofer works well.
Well first of all that amp in no way will put out 600 watts. Judging by the 20 amp fuse on it, it will put out about 150-200 true watts rms. Also when you run a sub on it you will have to bridge the 2 channels together and that means you have to run a sub that is 4 ohms and nothing less. That being said I would get a single 10 or 12 inch sub in a sealed box that is rated for about 100-300 rms like the Alpine type s. That sub would work fine on that amp. It is also 4 ohms. So there ya go.
