I eat healthy, and I always wear sunglasses when needed. I don't spend hours locked up in a dark room on the computer or playing game systems all day - I'm just a typical teenage girl. But I have horrible vision. My Mom has moderate - high nearsighted ness and my Dad had mild nearsightedness until he had to get surgery, and now has to wear glasses for reading. Every year my eyes just get worse. I wear glasses and contacts all the time, contacts during the day and glasses when I'm home at night. I'm fourteen.
I know there's a lot of scams on the internet regarding reversing the need for glasses, so all I ask is some help on trying to prevent my eyes from getting any worse.
If it helps, I got glasses at age 9-10, and have to wear them all the time.
As you're a teenager and going through lots of growth generally, this is a time when your eyes will be getting worse - most people with glasses will agree that this happened to them. Sadly there is nothing you can do to stop this as it is just the way your eyes are made, apart from of course not spending hours staring a the computer etc as you appear to know.
don't fall for any of the scams, there is nothing that will help you apart from glasses and contact lenses. Eventually your prescription should stabilise and you will be able to get laser eye surgery if you want (and are eligible).. my eyes stabilised at about age 19.
