All I cared about was the amp. Tested the 10" pioneer with my mtx amp and it wasn't all that... tried out the other amp. Everything goes fine until I turn the gain up past 10% ... then it goes into protection mode. Its a monoblock.
I know a little about this stuff due to constant problems and time invested. but this is just irritating now. Any ideas?
sounds to me like it may be connected at to low of an Ohms rating for that amp. Are you sure you dont have it wired to 1ohm, or even 2ohms it might have a hard time with.
I can't give you a better answer without you giving better details. You should list the amp model and speaker model, including single or dual voice coil and if you know the speakers resistance.
