Someone told me that i need two seperate amps so im guessing i would buy a monoblock amp for the sub and a two channel for the tweeters. I dont have that much money for the amps so im looking for cheap ones. anyone have any ideas?
unless you feel like wasting money or buying more speakers than i would suggest getting two amps
-a mono class d amp that puts out about 1000wrms at 4 ohms (more efficient less expensive and allows you to add more subs)
or
-a 2 channel amp that puts out about 1000w rms briged (better sound quality if its an ab design but more expensive and puts out the most power with one sub)
for the tweets i would suggest a small class ab 2 channel amp they say they can handle 250w rms but underpowering them wont be a problem tweets get verry loud with little power i would reccomend at least 100w rms and make sure the amp you get has a high pass filter
