Why does my 1800 mono block amp go into protect mode after 20 minutes while playing the bass hard.?
I have 2 apline type r 12's with a 2.0 frad cap with a subwoofer cross over in a slot proted box( I had this system in my pervious car and it didnt do it; but know in my new car im having problems trying to drum)
If it didn't the unit would burn up! Maybe there was more air flow in the other car. Or maybe you hearing has been damaged and you are actually playing it louder, which generates more heat in the unit, without realizing it. If you don't think that is possible, as your doctor.
