does anybody have headrest monitors in 05 dodge neon? i have problems?
ive got 2 7 inch monitors to put in my headrest but they are slightly too big for the headrest in the car, each corner of the monitor would stick out of the headrest not even half a inch and the only thing that would be sticking out is the trim ring around the monitor. all the shops in town say there is know way they could make the headrest slightly larger. so i need to know if anyone has done this or if anyone knows of another car that i could get headrest out of that has the same brackets as a neon (possibly a magnum, charger, durango etc). i spent a few hours in a junkyard looking but didnt have any luck and all the newer cars are not at u pull it yards. if you have anything that could help but need futher info please email me at twk62390@aol.com
No dodge neon came with head rests which means it's an after market install which very few ppl will have ever done as it's a dodge neon it's a cheap introduction car. The cheapest fix is remove the monitors. Next cheapest fix is replace head rests with another dodge neons. The only real fix you can get that will keep your monitors and not stick out is to get a custom head rest mounted on the original bracket so they are larger and then get the monitors re-installed. I'm guessing this will cost $400 at least for a not very good job.
