Building a subwoofer bandpass enclosure?
i want to build one for a single subb or double.
my diy is fantastic with years of practise with MDF Plywood Metals, fabricating etc..
However my knowlegde in the custom speakers and subwoofers is lacking.
I hear that if the size and dimensions are wrong the woofer can sound stupid and distorted.
Is there a site around which has pictures on how to build an enclosure
Not if it's custom, there are however sites that tell you how, but this all depends on the cubic feet you have to work with. I don't suggest bandpass (I personally don't like the sound), ported sounds much better and is easier to build. Also with the wrong cubic feet you can actually blow your subs.
