I have a 2000 silverado LS that came stock with alarm and power locks, but I would like to add power start to it? What is the best and easiest way to add an interface and upgrade the remote at the same time? I would also like to extend the range of my remote, as I have trouble finding my truck sometimes..: )

I was looking into it the other days. There are no plugs that attches to the existent ones. You need to splice the cables. Sad though, there are several models in the market, based on this model. They run about $65 a piece.
