I have 2003 Civic, 126k miles on it, rebuilt alternator about 4 or 5 months ago. Brand new battery. Original starter. Air horn and HID kit - air horn has an in-line fuse and the HID kit has a relay. Had both installed for about 6 months no problem. Yesterday the car began starting sporadically, it would start, run, and then I'd turn it off, 2 or 3 more tries to start and nothing. Then it would start, I drove it into the garage and jumped it with the Trailblazer and still wouldn't start, did hear clicking (lights and horn worked), tried to start 2-3 more times and nothing, no clicking, no lights, horn not as loud. Do you think it could be a starter or alternator? or something else?
If you jumped it and it still didn't turn over, and just clicked, it sounds as though You have a bad Starter.
