I recieved an iPod 8-in-1 Car Kit to play my music using the radio, but I have no idea how to make it work. I plugged the iPod in and plugged the Kit in my Car's lighter/charger socket and tried to flip radio channels using the radio, but I couldn't get the the FM transitter to show up on the kit so I can match the channels. Hey there, my sister has one of those, it's probably not the same but I think they all work a similar way. Plug it into the cigarette lighter and then plug the dock connector bit into the iPod, turn the iPod on as well as the transmitter. I would say the car has to be running as well with the radio turned on. By the looks of it, the one you are using has a screen so change your radio to a frequency that has heaps of static (the more the better), then match that frequency on the transmitter. What this is doing is basically fooling the radio to think that your iPod is actually a broadcasting radio station (that's why it is better to choose a frequency where there is nothing broadcasting). Then whatever is playing on your iPod should be playing through the car speakers.
