When i switch on my desktop computer, i only hear beeps.. The green light glows but red doesnt..?
nuthin is displayed on my monitor too..
i have tried flushing the memory..
also the processor fan is running.
is it a problem wid my harddisk?
it is continuous short beeps..
but the red light doesnt glow...
doesnt dat mean power is not entering the hard disk?
From the description of the problem it appears to be a hardware fault . This could be due to (1) RAM failure (2) BIOS problem
Try to boot using the boot CD of the Operating System . Also see if it enters Setup mode by pressing F9/F10 keys .All the best !!
