So the only light bulb I have in the house is a 100 watt LED replacement, which of course only uses something like 24 watts. I'm not really sure if I can put that in a 60 watt lamp.
You should be okay. I am assuming you use 110 volt AC for your house current as most of North America does. The main concern would be exceeding the capacity of the lamp, which apparently is maxed out at 60 watts. Anything up to 60 watts should be fine. How much current gets to the bulb is determined by how much the bulb needs and wants. If the bulb wants more that could overload the wiring in the lamp or cause excessive heat in the lamp assembly.
All bets are off if the lamp is wired for a different type of bulb, but you shouldn't be able to put the bulb in if it is.
