how much do you think it would cost to install a body lift?

Body lifts are a cheap and ugly alternative to lifting a truck the right way. Body lifts expose the frame and on a smaller truck like yours it looks even worse than on a fullsize truck. Modification to the steering column and brake lines need to be done at the very least.
A suspension lift is the right way to go and it isn't really that much especially when you consider the headache you'll save yourself. In a suspension lift you just have to bolt things on instead of cutting and welding and modifying.
The body kit you're looking at isn't cheap at al, probably because it's a Nissan. If your paying someone to do it then a body kit will cost as much as a suspension kit will doing it yourself. A few hundred dollars in labor, maybe $500-$800 depending on what needs to be done. It could be even more than that if it takes a lot of time to modify things. So your at or near $1000 to put in a body lift not adding in the gap guards that are sold separately. And you can't use your rear bumper anymore to tow.
A suspension kit will cost about $500(Rancho makes one) to $800 or so minus extended shocks and it'll be about the same or less $ in labor to install. I saw a kit on Ebay for your truck for less than $500 shipped. It's a really good deal. Buy the suspension kit and do it yourself or with someone you know who knows how to turn a wrench to save some $. It's not hard. The body kit is harder and you're saving almost no $ by getting it.
