Will this help my bass and stop the rattling from my subs?
I have 3 10" subs in my trunk and it rattles and stuff. I found this product and it's cheaper than Dynomat but do you think it will work the same? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/80-Mil-Rattle-Trap-Trunk-Kit-FREE-Dynamat-Roller_W0QQitemZ180385725924QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item29ffd3bde4&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A12|39%3A1|72%3A1171
Bodyrot, sorry man it's mostly like my trunk. Like on the inside it sounds pretty decent, but from the outside my trunk rattles. I was just wondering if this product is almost equivalent to the dynomat material cause I'm kinda on a budget.
Well in that case, no it probably won't help, usually the rattling comes from 2 pieces of metal vibrating on one another. You could stop this by maybe adding more rolled rubber foam to where the trunk should seal, much more in your budget. The product you showed cuts down stray waves, for an example, putting cotton in a enclosure. It just sounds more "clean" if you know what I mean. The guy below me is completely wrong, in the sense that vibration is actually the drivers hitting the frequency of the metal in your car, think of it this way an opera singer breaking a glass... Hope this helps...
