Has anyone installed after-market HIDs on 07 Toyota Camry?

I have 07 Camry SE and have been thinking of getting HID lights for it. I did some research and came across an article which basically said that even the brand name HIDs in the US (like Phillips, Bosch, or McCulloch) are fake. According to this article, the parent companies don’t even make such parts and have never heard of HID automotive lights. Below is a link to the review:

Anyhow, if the "brand-names" HIDs are fake, why not go with something like MTEC, which appears to be a product made in Japan.
The MTEC store on eBay has a designated “Camry 07+” HID kit. Has anyone purchased them? Do they work OK?

the camry is a easy install but make sure you get kit that are true plug and play some say that but you need to add a wiring to the battery to make certain cars work. i did buy one from ebay but... i had a lot of hassle (it was my fault though) but i finally bought a kit from

they helped me out with my problem and didn't jerk me around.
customer service was great.

p.s. make sure you get the right bulbs and i recommend getting them in 8000k they look the best out of all the colors. your car should be a H11 bulb but just double check to make sure.
