how do i connect my ipod to my car stereo?
i recently installed a kenwood car stereo w. an AUX connection on my 96 maxima..i went to P.C. richards and asked for the cable to connect my car stereo to my ipod touch..he gave me this RCA 6 ft extension 3.5. mm plugs.. i tried it but i doesnt work..im guessing its the wrong connection..i just want to know if its the right cable that i bought or if its the stereo like if i have go to settings to set up the ipod or what to look for when buying the auxiliary cable?

P.S. im not going to use an FM transmitter cusz it was a waste of money since it sux
