We are told that we should sit at least away from television to protect our eyes but we can't sit more than 2-3 feet away while working on computer monitors because we have to read and write text.
Don't you think that the television and monitors have the same effect on eyesight? Or am I wrong? Further, if I use a 17 inches or 19 inches colour monitor, will it be more harmful because of its larger size?
If you don't constanly stare at the monitor for a very long time or you eyes will get dry. After each 30 min or an hour, look away from the monitor for a couple of minutes. Also an idea I though of, you can wear sunglasses!!! Not that it is sunny or something, but it can block out the UV rays and all that and can protect your eyes. But this isn't needed if you do what I have told you above.
