Can I use all the following devices in my car without damaging battery or its 70A alternator?
Will my alternator can still charge the battery and run all this devices?
1) Pioneer Head Unit max current consumtion 10A
2) Two Amplifier Max 600W RMS Will draw 30A
3) 7 Inch Roof TFT video Screen
4) DC to AC convertor (hooks to my cigratte Lighter) Will use to connect my Laptop DELL XPS which takes 110-240V input and Output is 20V approx, Also suggest what Watt size should be enough to buy?
5) Head Lights with Fog lights
Thats it, If it will not support I want to cut short and dont want to upgrade so suggest accordingly.
1) Pioneer Headunit will draw 10Amps as mentioned
2) You are correct two Amplifiers which uses 600W @ 4Ohms will draw 30Amps Formula:- (((600*2)/13.8 )/3)= 29.xx Approx
3) 7Inch TFT Screen will draw from10Amps-15 Amps based on make and model
4) You need at least 150W Dc to Ac convertor to use with your laptop, Some even suggest 75W but if laptop is performing at 100% then it will consume more volts. To be on safe side buy 150W DC to AC
So Total amps current drawn is amps = watts/volts in your case 150/20V = 10Amps approx
5)Alternator which needs at least 40% to charge battery and car thats comes to 30Amps
Total your devices wll draw 10+30+15+10+30 = 105 Max
As you dont want to upgrade use laptop when you not using music system. At nights dont use music system at 100% because your headlights will be on. etc/
Hope you migth have got a solution
