eagle eye hid kit where do i?
hi i got a nissan sentra 2004 i had eagle eye HID lights installed i believe the h4 kit. that was two bulbs two ballasts.... i now need to make the lights hi/lo.....because i brought car to a different country...any info on this will be appreciated.....i want to buy the right kit for it to make car legal on road in ireland...do i need to replace work i already got done?
In order to make the lights Hi/Lo, your existing lights have to support the Hi/Lo feature, because the high and low beam patterns are created by complex reflecting mirrors for both projector and reflector headlights.
In order to change a single beam to a Hi/Lo, you would need to get new Hi/Lo bulbs along with a wiring harness and relay. You can reuse the ballasts though. This would reduce your conversion costs significantly. The ballasts are the most expensive parts in the HID conversion kit.
It's very easy to connect. As you know, your existing HID kit is connected as follows:

The difference with the Hi/Lo kit is the wiring harness connected between the car battery and the ballasts.
You have to be careful with legality, because some countries are quite strict with their road laws regarding aftermarket HID lighting.
