Best sealant for speaker building?
Just about done building a subwoofer box, just have the front baffle left to put in. . i want to know what would the best sealant to seal the inside. i used Gorrila WOOD glue, not the foaming poly stuff. i screwed and glued it together. wanted to know if i should use silicone, construction adhesive or anything else to seal it?
You are ok with any sealant you use. Make sure that you have a foam of fiber glass in the inside also. This will help absorb the sound wave from bouncing back to the speaker. Good luck. Hope this will help you out.
