i have a jensen flip down vm9410 everything works, the dvd subs, etc. except it will not play a cd...help?
everything is working correctly, but when i put a cd in, it says unknown disc, or bad disc...the disc is not bad. is there something that i have to change in settings, or press to make it read a cd, instead or a dvd... when i press source it goes through tuner dvd aux 1 camera and rear...my subs do work, just no cd...
Sounds like the laser has gone bad. Common problem with Jensen.
How old is it? Have you tried cleaning the laser? (laser cleaning disc)
if the laser has gone bad, everything else will work just fine. All the laser does is read the discs. if the laser has gone bad, then it can't read the disc. if it can't read the disc, then it thinks the disc is bad
