why a dvd player plays all movies in black and white?
i connected a dvd player and all the movies are in black and white
If you're using a single coax video cable (composite) to connect your DVD player... You may have connected your composite video cable to one of the three component video outputs on the DVD player by accident. Make sure you're plugged into the proper jack on the DVD player.
If you're using an S-video cable... You may have a bad connection or bent pin at one of the connectors... or a bad cable.
If you're using 3 component video cables for your hookup... Make sure the cables are all good and they're all plugged into the proper inputs and outputs.
