I have multiple questions about car audio amps and subs?
I have two kicker CRV 12s DVC and they are 400rms each, with 4 ohms per voice coil. I want to buy a Hifonics HFi1000D and it says at 1 ohm i would get 1000 rms per channel...there is two positive and two negative terminals on this amp so how would i get 1 ohm with my two 4 ohm speakers.. if possible, is it bad to run two four ohm speakers at a final impedance of 1? Finally if i have 4 ohms per voice coil that means that i have 8 ohms for each speaker, so how would this all pan out? If you have any other tips to help me out please feel free to tell me because i'm new to car audio.
the 2 sets of terminals are only there for convenience. they are connected together internally.
