I need a digital picture frame that can run off of a batter rather than have to be plugged in. My husband wants it for his car shows to play a slideshow of the before and after photos of his show car but there won't be any place to plug one in.
One thing to consider is to get a AC/DC converter and plug it into the Cig lighter, or hook it direct off the battery or a 2nd battery and just run it off that battery. Also a laptop might be a great way as it will play sound also, and run the slide show with it, looks very professional that way. Several of my clients have done that for their cars, most run it on their laptops and small speakers. (a used laptop might be perfect for this, and often will not cost more than the cost of the good battery powered frames, shoot sometimes Dell runs special and a new laptop is around $500...) There are a few battery powered ones. Phiilips 7" # 7ff1cmi and it can run on ac power or off a battery.
