what is marine acc?
I am a new boat owner and on my dash is an acc switch does anyone know what this is for?
This is an accessory switch. As stated previously it may have nothing connected to it. You can use this for an accessory later on such as a depth finder or vhf radio. It is already powered so when you hook up to it your positive from your accessory goes to the open post on switch and your ground will go to the negative buss bar or any ground connection behind dash.
the manufacturer may already have it hooked up if your boat came with depth finder or vhf radio. optionally
