What is the range of my new Cobra XRS 9545 radar detector?
I just bought the Cobra XRS 9545 radar detector but i haven't been able to find out exactly what is the range of the product. None of the websites selling it say, neither does the manual. Does anyone know? I just want to know how far away a cop might be if i get a very weak signal. 1 mile, 2miles etc.
In most cases, its basically what they call line of sight. This means it can not see around corners obstacles like hills will block the signal.
The best advise is to hold back on the speeding until you figure it out.
Another thing is, range does not matter if the cop with the radar is switching it off and on.
