im only going to be running a 12" alpine type-r subs (500RMS/1500peak), a hifonics brutus bxi1206d(450@4ohm/900@2ohm/1200@1ohm), a pair of 6.5" coax type-r speakers (50RMS/250peak), will i need a capacitor or get a new batery? and do i need an amp for the speakers?
how do i noe which battery(volts) to get? and which amp would you suggest for the speakers?
Not for that set up but make sure you have a quality alt at least 140 and a great battery such as optima or stinger.A please get a amp for your highs and mid or midbass because nothing sounds worse than an incomplete audio spectrum.I run JL Audio 12w3s x 500/1 mono,JL Audio 6.5 comp set x 450/4 for the high/mid and also a set of Dynaudio 6x9s on the 4-ch amp and its all powered by a 8v Eclispe head unit which is a crucial piece REMEMBER THE BETTER HD UNIT THE CLEANER AND MORE EFFECIENT YOUR AMPS WILL PRODUCE.I only have a 160 amp alt and a yellow top Optima battery and never have I had any power issues or getting the deepest of bass notes which is why caps are used to reserve power for all notes.Get at least a 5v head unit.Enjoy the tunes
